Forensic Crash Unit officers investigating a serious crash involving a truck and a cyclist this afternoon (May 25) are appealing for anyone with dashcam vision to contact them.
Preliminary inquiries indicate just before 1pm a female cyclist and a prime mover were travelling north on the Gold Coast Highway when the truck went to turn into Casino Drive.
The 32-year-old woman suffered injuries to her leg and abdomen.
She was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
The 42-year-old driver and sole occupant of the semi-trailer was not injured.
Police are appealing for anyone with dash cam vision or further information to come forward.
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing with inquiries.
