Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating a single vehicle motorcycle crash which occurred this morning at Carrara, Queensland Police say.
Initial inquiries indicate around 7.50am a Black Honda CBR 1000 was travelling south on the Pacific Motorway and has taken Exit 75, Elysium Road. The rider has lost control of the bike and hit a steel guard rail.
The 38-year-old rider was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
Investigations are continuing.
