The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a serious single vehicle traffic crash on the Pacific Motorway at Greenslopes this morning, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations suggest at around 11:40am a car was travelling southbound between the Juliette and Marshall Road exits when it collided with a guard rail.
The driver of the vehicle, a 35-year-old woman from McDowall, was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment of serious head injuries.
A 2-year-old girl and 1-year-old boy who were passengers in the car were transported to the Lady Cilento Hospital as a precaution.
