Police are investigating a serious traffic crash at Mount Isa yesterday, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations suggest around 4pm a motorcycle was travelling on Duchess Road when it has left the road.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 21–year-old man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he remains in a critical condition.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
