Serious traffic crash in Dalby, QLD

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious, two vehicle traffic crash which occurred west of Dalby tonight, Queensland Police say.

Preliminary investigations suggest just after 8pm, a dual cab was travelling east of the Warrego Highway, 5 kms west of Dalby.

When the driver pulled to the side of the road and attempted to perform a u-turn, a sedan travelling in the same direction collided with the front of the vehicle.

The 29-year-old male driver of the sedan was transported to the Dalby Hospital with serious head injuries.

The 23-year-old female driver of the dual cab and her 30-year-old male passenger, five-year-old girl and a baby received minor injuries.

Investigations are continuing.
