Police are investigating a serious traffic crash that occurred this afternoon in Darling Heights, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations indicate about 3.15pm on Platz Street near the intersection with Ella Court, an 11-year-old child was struck by a vehicle and sustained serious head injuries.
The child was airlifted to Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.
The Forensic Cash Unit is investigating.
