The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating a traffic crash that has left a man with serious injuries in Mount Louisa earlier this morning, Queensland Police say.
Officers were called to the intersection of Bayswater Road and Barnett Street at 3.20am after a 32-year-old man was struck by a car.
The man was taken to Townsville Hospital in a critical condition and will undergo surgery.
Investigations are continuing.
