Serious traffic crash in Tregony, QLD

Police are investigating following a serious two vehicle traffic crash in Tregony yesterday afternoon, Queensland Police say.

Initial investigations indicate at around 4pm a vehicle travelling west along the Cunningham Highway towards Warwick when it collided with a vehicle travelling east.

The driver of one vehicle, a 59-year-old man Allora man, was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious head and chest injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 49-year-old woman from Frazerview was transported to Ipswich Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No one else was injured during the crash.

A witness to the incident had contacted Warwick police and he is urged to recontact police in relation to the matter.
