Serious traffic incident at Waterford West, QLD

A boy has suffered life-threatening-injuries following a two vehicle crash involving a bicycle at Waterford West, this afternoon, Queensland Police say.

Around 5pm, a utility and the 16-year-old male cyclist collided on Kingston Road.

Emergency services attended and treated the boy before he was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries

The driver of the utility, a 19-year-old man and his 20-year-old male passenger were not physically injured during the incident.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
