Serious traffic incident in Raglan, QLD

A man and a woman have sustained serious injuries following a single vehicle traffic crash on the Bruce Highway north of Gladstone this morning, Queensland Police say.

Initial information suggests about 7.20am, the vehicle was travelling on the highway near Raglan when it left the road, crashing into a concrete culvert.

The 24-year-old male driver of the vehicle sustained serious leg injuries whilst a 23-year-old female passenger received injuries to her face.

The man and the woman, both from Narangba, were transported to Rockhampton Hospital for treatment of their non-life-threatening injuries.

The Bruce Highway was closed but has since reopened.

Investigations are continuing.
