Serious truck crash - Bedgerabong, near Forbes, NSW

Police are investigating following a serious truck crash in the state’s central west today, NSW Police say.


Shortly after 6pm today police and emergency services were called to Bedgerabong Road, Bedgerabong, following reports of a serious truck crash.

On arrival, officers found a truck had rolled on its side.

The male driver, aged in his 40s, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to hospital.

The female passenger, aged 27, was airlifted to Westmead hospital in a serious condition.

Officers from the Traffic and Highway Patrol Crash Investigation Unit are now on scene to assist with the investigation.

The road is expected to be closed for a number of hours to enable examination of the scene.
