Serious two-vehicle crash - Eden

Emergency services are currently on scene, following a serious two-vehicle crash in Eden this afternoon.

About 3.15pm today (Saturday 16 March 2019), emergency services were called to the Princes Highway, near Haycock Road, 5km north of Eden, following reports two vehicles have collided.

Officers from South Coast Police District established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Traffic diversions are currently in place.

The Princes Highway is closed in both directions north of Eden.

Southbound light vehicles are being diverted at Nethercote Road and northbound light vehicles are being diverted at Boyd Street.

Heavy vehicles should delay travel as they are currently being stopped before the crash site and are unable to use the diversion.
