Campaspe Shire Council will close its five customer service centres from Monday, 10 August in response to the Victorian Government's stage 3 COVID restrictions for regional Victoria.

CEO, Declan Moore said the restrictions focus on suppressing the virus with only four reasons to leave home, for essential shopping, medical care, exercise, and work and education.

"We have phone and online services available for our community and we want to ensure people are not leaving their home when they don't need to," Mr Moore said.

"Considerable efforts have been, and continue to be, made by the government and its agencies, businesses and our community to suppress the virus and whilst no direction has been given to close, we consider closing supports this effort."
