A number of Council services and other public services have been forced to close due to the current flood event.

Road and bridge closures

Sports Fields

All sports fields are closed.

Crescent Head Pool

Crescent Head Pool is closed due to power and pump failures and may not reopen until early next week.

Gladstone Pool

Gladstone pool is closed

South West Rocks Pool

South West Rocks Pool is closed

Kempsey Pool

Kempsey Pool is currently closed

Slim Dusty Centre

Is now closed and will remain closed to the public through the weekend.

Waste Management Centre

The Waste Management Centre off Crescent Head Rd will be closed on Sunday 21 March.

All members of the public and commercial operations needing to dispose of waste are asked to delay disposal until our WMC can be reopened or are asked to find alternative approved disposal sites.

Waste Transfer Stations

The Waste Transfer Stations will all be closed on Sunday 21 March.

Return and Earn

The CDS Reverse Vending Machine in Stuart St Carpark has been switched off.

Library - Kempsey

The Kempsey Library branch will be closed on Saturday 20 March.

Library - Stuarts Point

The Stuarts Point Library branch will be open on Saturday 20 March from 9am-12pm

Library - South West Rocks

The South West Rocks Library branch will be open on Saturday 20 March from 9am-12pm

Library - Hat Head

The Hat Head Library branch is closed

Due to flood conditions Customer Service are experiencing a high volume of calls with reduced staff availability within our customer service team. Please be patient if you do need to call Council and try to check Council's website and Facebook for flood updates and road closures before ringing our call centre.
