Service station robbed at Glenelg East, South Australia

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery which occurred overnight at Glenelg East.

Just before 1am on Thursday 13 December, a man entered a service station on Brighton Road and threatened the console operator with a large knife.

The suspect left with an amount of cash and cigarettes and was last seen heading towards Brighton Road in company with another man who was outside during the robbery.

The first suspect is described as being Caucasian, about 183cm tall, slim build with short brown hair and dark clothing. The second suspect is described as being 175-180cm tall and wearing a grey hooded top and blur trackpants.

The console operator was not physically injured. A search of the area failed to locate the men and investigations are continuing.
