Serving officer charged with drug possession - Pyrmont

A police officer has been charged with drug possession in Sydney.

About 9.30pm yesterday (Saturday 7 September 2019), police were conducting a drug dog operation at a casino in Pyrmont when they spoke to a 32-year-old man.

The man, an off duty senior constable attached to State Crime Command, was allegedly found to be in possession of a small amount of cocaine.

He was issued a Future Court Attendance Notice for possess prohibited drug and is expected to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 23 October 2019.
