Seven Lotto players are each set to begin a new chapter in life after winning close to $1.5 million in Saturday night’s draw.
The Division One winners in Draw 4595 will each receive $1,428,571.43, sharing a prize pool worth just over $10 million. The winning numbers were 24, 40, 43, 21, 45, 1, with supplementary numbers 16 and 9. To win the top prize, players needed to match all six main numbers — a feat with odds of 1 in 8,145,060.
Among the winners, two tickets were sold in New South Wales, two in Victoria, and one each in Queensland and Western Australia. The remaining winning ticket appears to be unregistered.
The Division One prize pool totalled $10,000,000.01, split evenly between the lucky winners.
Beyond the top prize, more than 1.14 million other players shared in over $25.8 million in winnings across all divisions. Division Two saw 75 winners each take home $10,486.15, while 1,262 Division Three winners received $943.35 apiece. Division Four paid out $27.70 to 63,867 players, Division Five awarded $17.30 to 159,819 winners, and Division Six delivered $10.20 to 915,259 ticket holders.
