Shoalhaven Launches Its 2026 Travel Guide

The Shoalhaven 2026 Travel Guide is hot off the press and ready to pick up throughout local Visitor Information Centres and beyond.

Whether local or a visitor, the new guide is the ultimate publication for the Shoalhaven region from wellness activities, Aboriginal cultural experiences, inclusive holidays for all abilities, food, wine and brews, it is all set out in the 2026 Shoalhaven Travel Guide.

"It's wonderful to have the 2026 Travel Guide here just in time for our peak season. Our annual guide showcases where to eat, stay and play in the region across our 50 towns and villages," said Mayor, Patricia White.

"The diversity of experiences and offerings are a tribute to Shoalhaven's tourism operators who collectively contribute $1.5billion* annually into the visitor economy, sustaining 6,000 jobs," Cr White said.

The guide can be downloaded at Shoalhaven.com/guide, where you can also request a copy to be mailed out to you. Shoalhaven's Visitor Services in both Nowra and Ulladulla have plenty of copies as well as last-minute gifts, maps and local information. The visitor services team will also be out in the region in their mobile van across some of the busier sites such as Huskisson, so stop by for a chat and collect a copy.

This summer, occupancy across the region peaks at a high of 80 per cent from Christmas to New Years***. Council's marketing campaigns are focused on the off-season to drive year-round visitation, however summer visitation is important for businesses also. Visitors are remined to be conscious travelers as they travel through Shoalhaven, and find a new favourite beach away from the crowds.

"Have a safe and happy holiday in Shoalhaven this summer, slow down, enjoy time with your loved ones, and support local Shoalhaven businesses when you can. We encourage that you pick up a new copy of our travel guide and find somewhere new to make great memories with your family," said Cr White.
