Police have served a short term closure order on a theatre at Enmore tonight, NSW Police say.
About 9.45pm today, officers attended the theatre on Enmore Road, which was hosting a dance party, following a number of adverse incidents involving juveniles and alleged licensing breaches.
Police from Newtown Local Area Command applied for a short term closure order which was granted by Parramatta Local Court.
Officers served the closure notice on the licensee and manager to explain the order and the serious consequences for any breach.
All patrons were ordered from the venue and complied without further incident.
The premises will remain closed until midnight on Saturday 19 November 2016.
Police will continue to patrol in the area to ensure compliance and licensing officers will investigate the alleged breaches.
