Shot Fired At Croydon Park

Police are investigating after a shot was fired into a car at Croydon Park this morning.

About 1.40am on Thursday 16 January, police were called to Boomerang Road after a shot was fired into a Mitsubishi sedan parked in the street.

The owner was sitting in the car at the time but was not injured.

A black Mercedes sedan was seen leaving the scene.

Just before 2.30am, police received reports of a car fire on Angle Vale Road at Penfield Gardens involving a Mercedes sedan. The vehicle was completely destroyed, and the fire is believed to be deliberately lit.

Police are investigating if this is the same vehicle involved in the earlier incident at Croydon Park.
