A man has been charged following an incident in Cunnamulla earlier today, 16 April.
Around 9.15am, police were called to a disturbance, involving people believed to be known to each other, at a Wicks Street residence.
During the disturbance it is reported a shot was fired, however there were no reports of injuries.
Around 12.30pm police located a 28-year-old man at a nearby address taking him into custody where he was charged with one count each of unlawful possession of a weapon, going armed as to cause fear and threatening violence.
He has been remanded in custody and is expected to appear before Cunnamulla Magistrates Court on 17 April.
There is no ongoing threat to the public.
