Shots fired at house in Westmead

An investigation is underway after shots were fired at Westmead, NSW Police say.

Police were called to Jessop Place just before 7.30pm today, after reports a number of shots had been fired at a house.

Officers from Holroyd Local Area Command attended and found damage to the house and a car parked in the driveway.

No one was injured.

A crime scene has been established and detectives are investigating the incident, which is believed to be targeted.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has information that may assist, to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
