Shots Fired, Pierces Creek

A 34-year-old man has been charged after police responded to reports of shots being fired at a property north of Toowoomba earlier this morning, 7 September.

Police were called to a Middle Road address at Pierces Creek around 9.10am, following reports of a disturbance between a group of people known to each other.

No one was injured and there was no ongoing threat to the community.

Following further investigations, a 34-year-old Pierces Creek man was arrested at the scene and taken into custody where he has been charged with one count each of unlawful possession of a category M weapon, unlawful possession of a category H weapon, possess dangerous drugs and possess utensil.

He is due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court tomorrow, September 8.
