Shots fired; police probe in Newtown

A crime scene has been established after a public place shooting in Sydney’s inner-west, NSW Police say.

Police were called to a business on Enmore Road, Newtown, just after 1.30am today (Saturday 10 March 2018), after reports several shots were fired into a building.

No one was injured during the incident.

Officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command commenced an investigation with the scene being examined by forensic specialists.

Police have been told a white Subaru Liberty was seen leaving the area at the time of shooting.

Inquiries are ongoing; however, it is believed to be targeted

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
