Single-Vehicle Crash Claims Life in Manning Great Lakes

Man dies after single vehicle crash in states north this morning.

About 11.35am (Tuesday 26 May 2026), emergency services were called to The Saddle, Tallwoods Village, after reports a crash.

Officers attached to Manning Great Lakes Police District attended and found an SUV had left the road and crashed into a tree.

The driver, an 83-year-old man, was treated on scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to hospital, where he later died.

Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
