Single-vehicle crash near Bowral, NSW

Investigations are underway following a single-vehicle near Bowral today, NSW Police say.

About 7.15pm today, emergency services were called to the Hume Motorway at Berrima (about 7km west of Bowral), following reports a vehicle had left the road and rolled in grassland.

The driver, a 34-year-old woman, was trapped for about an hour before being extracted from the vehicle and being airlifted to Liverpool Hospital.

A 7-year-old girl was also assisted out of the vehicle and she was also airlifted to The Children’s Hospital, Westmead.

Officers from The Hume Local Area Command with assistance from the Crash Investigations Unit are at the scene and will investigate the circumstances leading up to the incident.
