Single-vehicle fatal crash - Eagle Vale

A woman has died following a single vehicle crash in Sydney's south west this afternoon.

About 5.15pm (Thursday 28 March 2019), police and emergency services responded to reports a vehicle had crashed into a tree on Emerald Drive, Eagle Vale.

Despite the efforts of NSW Ambulance paramedics, the sole occupant – a woman believed to be aged in her 70s – died at the scene.

Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command remain at the scene and have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the NSW Coroner.
