Approximately 9.55pm on Friday 05 January 2018, a single vehicle crash occurred on Heemskirk Rd, Zeehan, Tasmania Police say.
The crash has occurred when a black Suzuki Vitara veered off the side of the road and struck a power pole. The driver, a 51 year old woman from Granville Harbour, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was declared deceased at the scene.
Members of Tasmania Police and Tasmania Ambulance Service attended the scene and to enable investigations to be carried out by Crash Investigation and Forensics officers, the road was closed for a number of hours.
