Sixth Man Charged, 145 Referrals in Satanic Abuse Probe

Sex Crimes Squad detectives have charged a sixth man and are referring a further 145 alleged offenders to international law enforcement agencies following an investigation into a satanic child sex abuse material ring under Strike Force Constantine.

Strike Force Constantine was established by State Crime Command's Child Exploitation Internet Unit to investigate the online distribution of child sexual abuse involving ritualistic or satanic themes.

During the investigation, detectives uncovered a Sydney-based paedophile network actively involved in possessing, distributing, and facilitating this material through a website administered internationally.

Five men have been arrested and charged and remain before the courts.

About 7.45am yesterday (Tuesday 3 February 2026), strike force detectives – with assistance from Central Metropolitan Region Operation Support Group ODIN – executed a search warrant in Woollahra.

At the address, police arrested a 62-year-old man and seized electronics relevant to their investigation.

The man was taken to Surry Hills Police Station, where he was charged with nine counts of use carriage Service to transmit child abuse material, two counts of use carriage etc to access child abuse material, two counts of contravene requirement in Section 3LA Order, two counts of person disseminates bestiality material, disseminate animal crush material, possess prohibited drug and participate in criminal group contribute to criminal activity.

He was refused bail to appear in Bail Division Local Court 6 today (Wednesday 4 February 2026).

While the man is believed to be the final NSW-based offender identified with links to the international paedophile network, investigators have identified a further 145 offenders internationally with referrals now being made to other law enforcement agencies within Australia, USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe, New Zealand, South America, and South East Asia.
