New grants for apprentices and trainees are now available through the 2023 Apprentice and Trainee Training Fund (ATTF).
The ATTF supports Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to provide training for apprentices and trainees in nationally-recognised qualifications.
The ATTF has supported on average more than 3500 apprentices and trainees each year since 2019, providing more pathways to rewarding careers by significantly reducing the cost of vocational training.
This subsidised training helps to build a more highly skilled workforce in Tasmania, with more than 400 nationally-recognised qualifications available.
Completing an apprenticeship or traineeship opens so many doors for our young people, as well as giving existing workers the opportunity to upskill or retrain in a new field.
Eligible RTOs can now apply for an ATTF grant to provide subsidised training for apprentices and trainees across the State in 2023.
