Sleeping beauty arrested at Moorabbin

Police responded to an alarm at a Moorabbin shopping centre early this morning and found a burglar sleeping on the floor of a sport store while her two alleged partners in crime waited in the car park, Victoria Police say.

Police attended at the Centre Dandenong Road complex just after 6am and arrested a 19-year-old Keysborough man and a 14-year-old Springvale South girl in an allegedly stolen car.

Following the car park arrests, the police members searched a sports store within the complex and found the 30-year-old Springvale South woman asleep on the floor.

Police believe the woman climbed into the roof of the complex and dropped down into the store before realising that she couldn’t get out of the locked doors.

All three have been taken to the Moorabbin Police Station where they are being questioned by detectives.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
