Smiths Creek Road is getting another new bridge in February

Kempsey Shire Council is replacing Nursery Gully Bridge on Smiths Creek Road, Kundabung as part of the bridge replacement program.

The works are scheduled to begin Tuesday 14 February and finish up on Thursday 16 February 2023, weather permitting.

During these works, Smiths Creek Road with be closed to vehicles from 8am until 3pm. An alternate vehicle route will be through Gregs Road and Cooperbung Range Road. Pedestrian access will be available.

Replacing Nursery Gully Bridge will help the drivers who use the route travel safely and comfortably.

Council has secured $20.5 million in funding for the project from the NSW Government's Fixing Country Bridges program.
