Sneaker stealers arrested after aggravated burglary in Mildura

Mildura Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested two men in relation to an alleged aggravated burglary in Mildura this morning.

It is alleged offenders attended a home on Sarnia Avenue just after 9.30am.

The victim disturbed a male offender in her laundry picking up a pair of her shoes.

The males fled the home in a Ford Territory with the victim's shoes.

Quick thinking police cordoned the area and identified the offenders involved.

Detectives searched a Eaglesham Street home and located one male inside the home and another hiding underneath a bed.

The Territory was located in the backyard of the property and the victim's shoes were found in a bin.

Both men were arrested at 9.45am.

A 44-year-old Mildura man and a 25-year-old Merbein man are currently being interviewed by police.
