As the Snowy Monaro faces one of our hardest periods of the COVID-19 pandemic, Snowy Monaro Regional Library is stepping up to support the community with a whole host of new and revamped services.
The introduction of our new Click & Deliver service gives all members access to the library's full collection, delivered direct to their door with zero contact. Members can borrow up to 20 items at a time and also reserve items in advance for future borrowing.
We understand that not everybody in our region can, or wants to, access their library materials through a phone, PC, tablet or e-reader. Click & Deliver ensures our community has access to library books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, and more - in the format they want it and at a time that suits them, anywhere in the Snowy Monaro.
If you do like online as an option, our library membership also comes with free and unlimited access to world-class e-resources. Borrow e-books and audiobooks through your phone, tablet or PC with BorrowBox and Libby, explore the Gale and National Geographic research databases, or learn one of more than 70 languages through Mango. All you need is your library membership number.
Your library is also excited to announce the introduction of online events, with a calendar of exciting and engaging activities to be announced soon. It was with sadness that the adult learners and pre-school storytime had to be cancelled due to the lockdown. We're working hard to launch new online events to keep you engaged and connected.
