Police and fire crews are currently at the scene of a building fire on South Road at Edwardstown, according to SA Police.
Just before 5am (18 March) smoke was reported coming from the roof of a group of shops on the corner of South Road and Angus Avenue.
The blaze was brought under control by a number of fire crews but not before significant damage was done to two buildings.
South Road is blocked for northbound traffic and diversions are in place while emergency services remain at the scene.
Fire Cause Investigators will attend the scene later this morning to determine the cause of the fire.
