Melbourne Highway Patrol members have interviewed a 22-year-old Ringwood East woman following a crash at South Yarra last night, Victoria Police say.
The P-Plater performed a U-turn to avoid a booze bus on Alexandra Parade at about 11.30pm. As she attempted to avoid the booze bus, she has collided with another vehicle that was in the lane next to her.
Police observed the collision and spoke to the female and the driver of the other vehicle to make sure they were okay.
The driver underwent an evidentiary breath test and returned a reading of 0.245%
The woman had her licence immediately suspended and is expected to be charged on summons for drink driving and other traffic offences. There were no injuries as a result of the collision.
