A man has been arrested after some helpful members of the public reported sparks coming from a shipping container on South Road early this morning, according to SA Police.
Just before 1.30am, Sunday 10 September, patrols were called after workers detained a man who had been allegedly attempting to grind through a lock on a container at a construction site.
When police attended they searched the man and found the grinder, gloves and other tools.
The 34-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with unlawfully on premises, property damage, going equipped to commit an offence and breach of bail. He has been refused police bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.
