Speeding drink driver at Hackham, SA

A disqualified driver has been caught speeding and under the influence early this morning, according to SA Police.

Just after 12.30am, Saturday 8 April, patrols conducting laser duty on Main South Road, Hackham clocked a car travelling at 158 km/h in a 60km/h zone.

They stopped the driver, a 27 year-old man from Aldinga. He submitted to a breath test and recorded a positive reading of 0.158. Checks revealed the man was also disqualified from driving.

The man was reported for speed dangerous, drink driving and driving disqualified, he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date. His car was impounded for 28 days.
