Sporting feast for Project Unite

The Project Unite team were out amongst the crowds heading to the Gabba for the Ashes this morning to help promote the ‘United for a Safer Community’ mantra, Queensland Police say.

The team spoke with the general public regarding the safety and security of the community in the lead up to the Commonwealth Games.

The team showed their sporting allegiance.

The team will be at the Suncorp Stadium tomorrow evening for the Rugby World Cup semi-final and back to the Ashes for Day Three on Saturday morning. If you see them pop over, say hello and find out more.

Project Unite is the Queensland Police Service’s crime prevention response to detecting, deterring and disrupting criminal and terrorist activity and reinforces the Australian National Security message ‘If it doesn’t add up, speak up’. The project encourages all Queenslanders to report suspicious activity to the National Security Hotline by calling 1800 123 400.  For more information, visit our website.
