Police have arrested a man following an incident in St Albans this morning.
Officers were called to a business on Furlong Road about 12.15am after reports a man had broken into the property.
Staff, who were still on site, secured themselves in a storeroom and had contacted police.
The man stayed in the premises for a short time before leaving.
Police were quickly on scene and arrested a 25-year-old man from Sunshine.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to existing injuries.
The 25-year-old has since been charged with criminal damage and trespass and was bailed to appear at Sunshine Magistrates' Court on 25 February.
