St Albans brawl and stabbing

Police are investigating after four youths were stabbed during an organised brawl in St Albans this evening, Victoria Police say.

A large number of youths attended a fast food outlet on St Albans Road just before 6.15pm.

Shortly after, a brawl broke out involving a number of the youths.

Four boys, all aged 17-years-old, sustained stab wounds during the scuffle.

A Braybrook boy and North Melbourne boy sustained serious injuries, while two boys from St Albans and Caroline Springs sustained minor injuries.

All four were taken to hospital.

Police have spoken to a number of witnesses at the scene and are investigating the incident.
