St Albans trailer theft

Police are investigating the theft of a hire trailer from St Albans last month, Victoria Police say.

Investigators believe two men attended a service station in a white utility on Station Road about 7am on Sunday 30 April.

The pair used bolt cutters to cut the lock from a grey hire trailer before attaching it to the utility and leaving the service station.

The utility is described as having a long tray, black wheels and rims with green and yellow tarp over the tray.

The stolen grey trailer, registration, U70180 has the number 5964 welded into the draw bar.

Police have released images and CCTV of two men and a vehicle that they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
