Police are investigating a stabbing at Elizabeth Vale overnight.
About 2.45am on Sunday 7 November, police and paramedics were called to a home on Quarley Avenue following reports of a stabbing.
When police arrived they found a 26-year-old man with a stab wound to his stomach. Paramedics treated him at the scene before taking him to the Lyell McEwin Hospital for treatment. His injuries are not considered life threatening at this time.
A 24-year-old man from the home has been arrested over the incident and is being interviewed by police.
The two men are known to each other.
