Investigations are underway after a man was stabbed in Wetherill Park today, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to a service station on The Horsley Drive, near Elizabeth Street, Wetherill Park, about 2.45am (Wednesday 12 September 2018), where they found a 19-year-old man with a puncture wound to his shoulder.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital where he is reported to be in a serious condition.
Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command attended and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A crime scene has been established which will be examined by forensic specialists.
As inquiries continue, anyone with information is urged to come forward.
