Staff threatened with firearm in armed robbery in North Strathfield

Police are investigating an armed robbery at North Strathfield, NSW Police say.

About 11.45pm (Sunday 17 December 2017), a man armed with a firearm entered a pizza store on Concord Road.

The man threatened staff and was handed an amount of cash from the till. No staff were injured.

He fled the scene and was last seen heading east on Correys Avenue on foot.

Police from Burwood Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene which was examined by the Forensic Armed Robbery Unit.

The man has been described as Caucasian appearance, thin build, possibly aged in his 30s, wearing a grey jumper, grey pants, blue hat, blue shoes, and he was armed with a handgun.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
