- Minister for Multicultural Affairs
I know that for many faith communities, this time of year is about coming together.
For visiting friends and family. And for sharing in traditions and beliefs.
Unfortunately, this year must be different.
We each need to stay home. And for the good of our community, we must.
I encourage Victorians to be innovative and find new ways to express your faith.
A smaller celebration with just your household members is no less special.
A gathering online is no less meaningful.
Although we must be physically distant - we will always remain connected as a community.
As you mark these holy days at home, please know you are helping to keep our state safe - and saving lives.
