The Liberals and Nationals would like to express their deep and ongoing concern about the current humanitarian crisis in Sri Lanka caused by Cyclone Ditwah.
This ongoing crisis has caused the loss of hundreds of lives - mothers, fathers, sons and daughters - and has affected over one million Sri Lankans directly.
We know that Victoria's strong Sri Lankan community - the largest diaspora in the country - is deeply affected by these tragic events, and we share your concerns and keep your families in our prayers.
In Victoria, we hope and pray for those still missing and know that, while the impact of this tragedy is severe, the people of Sri Lanka have the strength and resolve to rebuild their communities and homes.
