Statement regarding further increase of exposure venues

Queensland Health is closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak in Victoria, with the health and wellbeing of all Queenslanders its number one priority.

As the cases in Victoria continue to rise, we remind anyone who has been in Victoria recently, prior to the hotspot declaration, should keep checking the list of exposure venues regularly.

As at 1 June 2021, there are 329 exposure venues in Victoria. Everyone is encouraged to monitor the Queensland Health interstate exposure venue lists for 14 days after they arrive to ensure they have not been in any of the new exposure venues as they are added.

If you have been to one of these venues you should get tested immediately, isolate for 14 days and complete the contact tracing form.

The Victorian exposure sites can be found at: www.health.qld.gov.au/tracing

If you need assistance completing the contact tracing form, please call 134 COVID (13 42 68).

It's important to remember that Victoria remains a declared hotspot.

Anyone who has been in Victoria from 1am Friday 28 May will not be allowed to enter Queensland unless they are a returning Queensland resident, except for a limited range of people who can enter for an essential purpose. Anyone who is allowed to enter Queensland will be required to go into 14 days mandatory hotel quarantine.
