Stolen Audi dumped in city car park

Police are searching for four suspects who dumped a stolen car in a city car park overnight.

The grey Audi sedan was spotted by Southern District patrols just after 1.30am on Wednesday 9 August on Grand Boulevard, Craigburn Farm.

The vehicle was driving erratically, and police checks revealed it had been reported stolen from a College Park address last week.

PolAir was quickly overhead and tracked the vehicle as it travelled at high speed along Shepherds Hill Road, then South Road and Goodwood Road into the city.

The car drove through the boom gates into the underground car park of the Convention Centre about 1.50am. Police cordoned off the area and called in Police Dogs Duke and Chaos to help search for the suspects, however the suspects were not located.

The stolen Audi was towed away for forensic examination.

Investigations are continuing to identify and locate the four offenders.

Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au
