Stolen car dumped at Glanville, SA

Police are searching for up to three people after a stolen car was dumped at Glanville early this morning, according to SA Police.

Just before 1am Wednesday 15 August, police were called after a blck Honda Civic was involved in a petrol driveoff at a St Agnes service station.

A short time later police spotted the car travelling along Darley Road at Paradise checks revealed the car had been stolen during a break in at Northgate earlier in the week.

Police attempted to pull the car over but it took off at speed away from them and a brief pursuit ensued before it was terminated due to safety reasons.

The car was spotted again in numerous locations by patrols, including Prospect, Mansfield Park and Rosewater, before it was spotted travelling on Carlyle Street at Semaphore. Patrols set up cordons in the area and about 3am they found the car dumped on Mellor Road at Glanville.

A police dog PD Zac was called in to assist with the search however they were unable to locate anyone at the time. The car has been seized for a forensic examination.
